The Keekorok lodge, which was formally opened in 1965, is located directly in the path of the magnificent yearly migration, which takes place every year from July to October.
Keekorok Lodge is located in the center of the Masai where you can enjoy the sights of hippo and zebra grazing at the lodge. The lodge is surrounded by 700 square miles of lush, sun-drenched plains.

Massive Wildebeest Migration Crossing in October 2022!
The Wildebeest herds were seen crossing the Sand River back into to the Mara. What a spectacular sight to witness! This video was taken at the beginning of October. The wildebeest herds usually make a brief stop in Kenya from August to October before returning south to Tanzania starting in November.
