This is a short and affordable option to experience a safari in the famous Masai Mara. The Great Migration is typically in the area between July and October, when you have a chance to see the huge herds, and possibility a river crossing if you are lucky. The herds movement is dependent on the weather and natural events, as the herds move in search of fresh pasture.
The safari can be booked on its own, or combined with a different area within Kenya, such as Amboseli, or Laikipia. It is also possible to combine with a gorilla trekking in Uganda or Rwanda for example.
