This delightful journey includes the two most visited areas in South Africa. Combine incredible game viewing in a tented lodge located in the Manyeleti, unfenced with the Kruger National Park, offering Big Five game viewing, with an extended stay in the Mother City.

You will get a chance to see all of Africa’s iconic species, including the Big Five, along with a supporting cast of 137 mammal species and over 450 varieties of birds.

While visiting the Mother City, we have included two private day excursions to visit the Cape Peninsula and the Winelands to complement this wonderful package.

You have time to relax and be pampered along your trip; it is said that wholesome food and soothing sunshine are as good as any therapy!

Your 8-Day Itinerary

Fly from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit, bordering the Kruger National Park.

On arrival, you are met by our representative for the transfer to the lodge.

Mantobeni, a tented safari camp is found in the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve. The reserve shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park and is in the heart of Big 5 country.

You can now completely relax and be guided by the excellent staff at camp. Your guide will confirm the times for the game drives. Food is served plenty: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and you have some time to relax between the activities to enjoy the pool.

Wake with the dawn chorus for the day’s first game drive. Sunrise is peak game viewing time. Encounter nocturnal animals returning to rest, and others headed out to hunt.

Back at camp, relax in the large open-air bar area overlooking the local watering hole and wildlife or lounge by the infinity pool while elephant visitors visit the camp for the fresh pool water, a memory that will last a lifetime.

Experience an afternoon game drive, keeping an eye out for animals, big and small, before returning to camp for a hearty dinner and watching the star-stubbed sky.

After breakfast, you are transferred back to Hoedspruit Airport for the flight to Cape Town.

On arrival in Cape Town, we have included a private road transfer to the hotel, located in the V&A Waterfront precinct.

Included during your stay are two private day trips: one to visit the Cape Peninsula, which follows the scenic route with stops at quaint areas, and one to the Winelands, where you will have the opportunity to taste South Africa's world-renowned wines and walk through the vineyards.

Back at the hotel, you will have easy access to a treasure trove of cafes, restaurants, and top attractions, and plenty of space to unwind as you ease back on a sun lounger.
