Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

Staying at Lion Sands River Lodge

On arrival at JNB International airport, collect your luggage and go through customs. Walk to the domestic terminal on time for your scheduled flight to Skukuza, within the Kruger National Park. On arrival at Skukuza, you are met by the lodge and transferred to Lion Sands River Lodge. You can now completely relax, while you are pampered by the excellent staff at camp. Your guide will confirm the times for the game drives, food is served at plenty breakfast, lunch and dinner and you have some time to relax between the activities to enjoy the pool, or book a spa treatment (addtional cost).

Day 2-3

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

Staying at Lion Sands River Lodge

Your stay includes your meals, selected beverages and two game drives per day. Wake with the dawn chorus for the day’s first game drive. Sunrise is peak game viewing time. Encounter nocturnal animals returning to rest and others headed out to hunt. The thrill of being let in on this world (and the coffee stop) will give you a buzz. As the daylight fades, a whole other world of animals emerges into the evening. It’ll take a little more effort to spot them, but with your guides’ keen eyes and your senses now attuned to the sounds, scents and movements of the bush, this experience captures the very essence of a safari in Africa. Included during your stay: if availability and weather permits, you can spend 1 night at a treehouse for a thrilling and immersive experience.

Cape Town

Staying at More Quarters Hotel

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at camp before the transfer to Skukuza on time for your flight to Cape Town (can be direct or via Johannesburg). On arrival in Cape Town, private road transfer to the hotel, located in a viby suburb not far from the city centre. You are booked for 4 nights in a luxury apartment in More Quarters ( breakfast included). You can chat to us before hand to get some restaurant recommendations, or the concierge will be able to assist with some table bookings, if required. Welcome to the Mother City, your home away from home.

Day 5-7

Cape Town

Staying at More Quarters Hotel

Included during your stay are 2 private day trips, one to visit the Cape Peninsula which follow the scenic route with stops at quaint areas, as well as a day in the Winelands where you will have the opportunity to taste South Africa world renowned wines and walk through the vineyards. Back at the More Quarters , the property offers you all the spoils of five-star hospitality and the privacy of your own city retreat. You will have easy access to a treasure trove of cafes, restaurants and top attractions, but also plenty of space to unwind, as you ease back on a sun lounger.
