Tanzania in March

Justin helped craft the perfect honeymoon for us! There are so many options when it comes to choosing a tour operator that I feel so fortunate we landed on Discover Africa. The experience felt seamless from start to finish. Our trip felt perfectly tailored to what we were looking for. You can tell that they truly listened to your situation and crafted the trip specifically for you. Planning an African safari can easily feel overwhelming, but Justin gave us nothing but confidence. The lodges, staff, guides, transportation, every aspect was top tier. There was constant communication from everyone on the ground to make sure you were where you needed to be on each leg of the trip. Save yourself the option overload and set up a call. No harm in getting a quote and taking it from there!

It was an extensive planning process to put together a 24 day safari and adventure trip covering Victoria Falls, Mana Pools and Hwange Park in Zimbabwe, followed by a wonderful experience in Botswana on the Chobe River and Okvango Delta. There were flight considerations and a few changed plans along the way. I was worried that I was becoming a bore but no, Adelle was just as excited to plan my trip as I was to go on it. Finally the day arrived and I boarded my flights and arrived in Victoria Falls after 36 hours of travel. There waiting for me was my shuttle driver and the hotel was amazing. The next day the same level of service and off to Mana Pools I went. Same wonderful level of service.

But 1.5 days later I fell in the middle of the night and fractured two discs in my back. The care and support I received from Adelle is what got me through what could have turned into a tragedy. She was there for me every step of the way and continued to check in with me after I was finally safe at home. I don’t know what I would have done without her. A 5 star rating is simply not enough. Discover Africa and Adelle deserve a million stars. Once my back is healed we will begin the planning process again. They have won not only my repeat business but also my heart. I cannot sing their praises loudly enough.

Susan and the team from Discover Africa you have excelled yourself through the initial contact to the very end of our journey. We were dazzled with the views of Cape Town. Victoria Falls and of course the game parks. The animals did not disappoint the spectacular service of all the staff will be etched in our memories forever.

The animals were the stars of the show but I have to mention the service,food and accomodation was out of this world. I took this tour with my 23 year old son and i was so impressed with all that this beautiful country had to offer. Susan, from the Wales family you are one amazing lady. Thank you again. My mum and I used Discover Africa Safaris to organise a 3 week trip to Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. Devryn (Dev) was absolutely fantastic. He really listened to what we were after and crafted a superb itinerary from beginning to end. He had some great advice about which direction to go and how to get between places and while mum and I were dubious about his ‘gradual experience crescendo’ (we thought we didn’t care if we ping ponged around) however, he was spot on and I think that totally made the trip for us! The whole thing went like clockwork and I would recommend them to anyone who would like a special experience on the beautiful African continent!

My daughter who is 27 and I (her mom)have been dreaming of this trip for a few years. It was everything we wanted July seemed to be the best month to visit South Africa. Weather is comfortable, better opportunity for seeing the wildlife , no mosquitos or bugs due to it being winter at that time. Our trip started in Cape Town which was beautiful. We stayed at the Victoria and Alfred for 4 nights. Service and food there was really good. Lots to do in CT.

Then we went to the Kambuka River Sands private nature reserve for 4 nights. We rated it 10. Everything about it was great. We then went to Sabi Sabi little Bush reserve for 2 nights. It was great as well. We saw all the animals we wanted to see except for the cheetahs. We also saw lion cubs and baby elephants. End of trip was Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe for 3 nights at the Shongwe Oasis. All transfers and domestic flights were pretty much on time. Service was great everywhere. Definitely got your money’s worth.

An absolutely incredible safari! My wife and I went on a two-week safari through Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Susan listened to what we hoped to see and do and then put together a great itinerary, with some fantastic accommodations. Highly recommend Susan and her team, and we look forward to one day booking another safari with them soon!
