Day 1-2

Victoria Falls (Zambia)

Staying at Wilderness Toka Leya

Arrive at Livingstone Airport and road transfer to the lodge. Lunch is served and you can relax before the afternoon activity. Toka Leya offers front row seats to a daily wilderness spectacle on the banks of the Zambezi River. This is your home for the next 2 nights, an ideal base from which to enjoy Mosi-oa-Tunya's thrilling wildlife and adrenaline activities. Just a short drive from one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World - the majestic Victoria Falls - this sublime camp is a beacon of conservation tourism in Zambia. Your stay includes a river cruise, a tour of the Falls on the Zambian side and a game drive in the reserve. Toka Leya feels like a wildlife sanctuary in itself. Hippos come up to graze at night, while elephants are often seen padding silently through camp.

Day 3-5

Eastern Hwange National Park

Staying at Wilderness Little Makalolo

After breakfast, transfer by road to Zimbabwe and the Victoria Falls airport. Scheduled charter flight to Hwange and transfer to the camp. Check in and enjoy a late lunch before the afternoon game drive. Hwange is your home for the next 3 nights. Positioned in one of Hwange’s most wildlife-rich regions, where Kalahari sands meet teak woodlands and savannah plains, the area around Little Makalolo delivers excellent year-round game viewing. Lions, hyenas, and large herds of buffalos are often seen in the area. Back at camp, enjoy a dip in the pool and a sundowner, keeping an eye on the waterhole that attracts an abundance of wildlife.

Day 6-8

Mana Pools National Park

Staying at Wilderness Ruckomechi

Today you travel to a very different area, Mana Pools on the banks of the mighty Zambezi river. Hop on the scheduled charter flight in between camps and transfer to the lodge on time for lunch and the afternoon game viewing activity. Find adventure in the floodplains on a game drive in search of wildlife, or canoeing on the Zambezi River; possibility also to enjoy a nature walk, taking in the pristine beauty of this wild, wonderful place. Elephants are frequent visitors at Ruckomechi, tempted by the nutritious albida trees that shade the camp. At the end of the day, chat to other guests around a camp fire, under the stars, listening to nature’s soundtrack of frogs, crickets and jackals.

Day 9

End of Itinerary

Your last morning on safari, enjoy a hearty breakfast and say your good-byes. Transfer to the airstrip on time for the scheduled charter flight to Victoria Falls. Connect with your onward flight or contact us to extend your safari.
