This safari allows you to explore two popular African destinations, the watery wilderness of the Okavango Delta and the rumbling natural wonder that is Victoria Falls. From a relaxing retreat in the Moremi Game Reserve to the action-packed adventure in Victoria Falls, this safari is great for families and those who want to combine serenity and fun.

Your journey will take you to the pristine Moremi Game Reserve, one of the most interesting and diverse reserves in Botswana. Explore the landscape of waterways, marshes and grassland, where the sheer number of wildlife and birds have astonished guests and nature lovers for ages. Spot the endangered African wild dog, get up close with the majestic elephant and the rare sitatuga antelope. You'll be staying in a brand new, contemporary safari lodge on the edge of the water, where expansive views make for a relaxing retreat. Kwando Splash Camp will be opening its doors in June 2018.

The final leg of your journey will take you right to the heart of Victoria Falls, where you'll experience the warmth and friendly hospitality that Zimbabwe is known for. The Zambezi river offers visitors the chance to brave the rapids in a seasonal white water rafting expedition, consider the magnitude of the falls and explore the Chobe National Park.

Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta

Upon arrival at the safari hub of Maun, you'll catch a transfer flight to the Okavango Delta. A Discover Africa respresentative will be there to whisk you away to the brand new and stylish Kwando Safari Camp in the Kwara private reserve that shares a border with Moremi. Your first evening will include a game drive where you can aquaint yourself with the intruiging landscape of the area, follow by a delicious dinner.

Kwando Splash Camp offers two safari activities per day. You can choose between morning and evening game drives, a guided mokoro excursion through the watery labyrinth of the delta (a mokoro is a traditional dug-out canoe), enjoy a sunset boat cruise with a cocktail in hand, or learn about your surroundings on foot on a walking safari. Depending on the season, you can also try your hand at fishing for the famous tigerfish.

Splash Camp is also centred around a permanent watering hole, which attracts animals from far and wide, making your encounter with wildlife a personal experience. Enjoy panoramic views from your private veranda for a little me-time, or take a swim to cool off in the pool. Relax and recuperate before your next adventure around the communal camp fire after dinner.

Within close proximity to Victoria Falls and the Chobe National Park, you'll want for nothing at this stately glamping hub.

Elephant Camp also offers some adventure-driven activities. Your second day will be a busy one, with the array of safari excursions waiting for you. Choose between a guided tour of Victoria Falls, nature walks in the Victoria Falls National Park, a local village tour where you can learn about the local culture and rural way of life, a spectacular lunch at the uniquely positioned Lookout Deck, or if you're looking for some rejuvenation, treat yourself to a spa treatment.
