Victoria Valls (Zimbabwe)

Staying at Matetsi Victoria Falls

Your journey starts at Victoria Falls airport where you are met and transferred to Matetsi. Arrive at the lodge and chat to the camp manager to set up your days. Some activities are included, and some you can book on arrival. Your stay includes all meals and selected beverages. You can choose to enjoy a scheduled tour of the Falls (once per guest per stay), the safari activities including game drives & safari walks, as well as a sunrise or sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River. Back at the lodge, your suite overlooks a private section of the Zambezi, and offers you the ultimate in peace and tranquility. Set on the vast 136,000-acre Matetsi Private Game Reserve, Matetsi Victoria Falls has no fences and so wildlife roam freely. The area is well known for breeding herds of elephant and buffalo, with particularly impressive numbers in the dry season. The latter provide prey for the large prides of lion that call this area home, whereas the elusive leopard and active wild dog prefer impala and baboon, which thrive in this protected area. Giraffes enjoy the albida trees, while zebra and kudu move beneath them. Wildebeest, Sable, Roan and Eland can be found in the South of the property.

Cape Town

Staying at Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa

Breakfast at Matetsi and transfer to Victoria Falls Airport on time for your flight to Cape Town (flight is included). Arrive in the Mother City and transfer to the hotel, located pass Camps Bay and overlooking the ocean. Cape Town is a modern, cosmopolitan city surrounded by nature. Centered around Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders of the world, the Mother City is known for its beautiful beaches, stunning biodiversity, award-winning food and wine, and sheer variety of experiences on offer. You will stay 5x nights at The Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa including breakfast. We have included private excursions during your stay: 1 full day to visit the Cape Peninsula with Cape Point, 1x full day visit of the Winelands with 2 tastings, and 1x half day visit of the city that you can customized as per your preferences. The balance of your stay is at leisure, you can relax at the pool, explore the beaches nearby, do some shopping at the VA waterfront, or we can book additional tours.

Day 8-9

Whale Coast

Staying at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve Forest Lodge

After breakfast, meet with our driver at reception for the scenic drive along the Whale Coast. In season (June to November), you may be lucky and spot a few whales frolicking in the ocean en-route. Arrive at Grootbos on time for lunch and check in. You will spend 2 nights in this wonderful reserve including your meals, selected non alcoholic beverages, horse riding, botanical fynbos hike, 4x4 flower safari, coastal drive with seasonal land based whale watching (supplement for boat excursion), Walker Bay Nature reserve beach excursion, and mountain biking on the reserve. You can tailor-make your stay, depending on your preferences.

End Of Itinerary

After a leisurely breakfast, meet with our driver and road transfer (about 2.5 hours) to Cape Town International Airport for your onward arrangements.
