We booked our 10-day safari in Tanzania and Kenya through Discover Africa, and it exceeded every expectation. From our first conversation through the end of our journey, everything was exceptionally well organized, allowing us to focus entirely on enjoying the experience.

The itinerary itself was phenomenal. We experienced Cape Town, Victoria Falls, Tanzania, and Kenya, culminating in an unforgettable safari where we witnessed the Great Migration, saw the Big Five, and had incredible wildlife encounters throughout. The accommodations Discover Africa selected were all excellent, each offering something unique while consistently delivering outstanding hospitality and service.

What impressed us most was that Discover Africa didn’t simply book hotels and flights. They helped craft an experience. The pacing of the trip, the choice of camps, and the routing between destinations all came together to create a vacation we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.

This was our first experience using an online booking agent and it was outstanding. This was my 6th trip to South Africa and Botswana and, as always, Matthys van Aswegen made it a happy, safe, and exciting experience! My roommate, Glenna, and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to South Africa’s Boulders Beach to visit the African Penguin Reserve and all the beautiful scenery in that area. Another Discover Africa staff member, Kayla Robson, joined Glenna and me for dinner one evening and it was such a delight getting acquainted with another Discover Africa person whose talents enrich the travel experience.

When we arrived in Botswana we were so pleased to have the two guides I have always requested and, even though I’ve been at Camps Moremi and Savute before, they provided us with safaris that added to my previous experiences, learning new things about animal behavior and, the bonus, twice seeing a cheetah – a cat I hadn’t yet seen in Botswana!

And I’m already planning my next trip to these two fabulous countries!

Chrizaan Troch of Discover Africa helped us organize a recent safari in Chobe National Park. She was great to deal with – listened to what we wanted, and also offered other suggestions. She was very efficient, and always replied promptly to our questions.

We booked a safari through Discover Africa for Botswana and Zambia and it was fantastic! Chrizaan was super helpful and accommodating, especially when we had to change our dates of travel slightly. She worked with the lodges to accommodate us and found a solution. She booked us in terrific tented safari lodges in Botswana with the nicest staff and very comfortable, modern accommodations. We were so fortunate to see the “Big 5” and even cheetahs with our trusted guides and we also encountered very beautiful birdlife. We found the price of the trip to be reasonable and the food and lodgings were all very good.
