Wildebeest herd crossing at point no. 5!

This wildebeest herd was sighted at Crossing Point nr. 5 on the Mara River. Captured in this video is a relatively calm river crossing, as they usually can be quite chaotic! The wildebeest took their time and turns to get over on to the other side.

Huge wildebeest herd crossing the Mara River!

This wildebeest herd was sighted during a river crossing of the Mara River. It seemed to be a relatively safe and quick crossing for the wildebeest, as they didn’t have to cross too deep waters. After a brief swim, they were able to move on towards the Masai Mara!

Massive wildebeest herd all around the roads in Kogatende!

This herd was spotted at the junction of the Gnu Migration Camp close to the Mara River. As this safari vehicle drove along the road, they were treated to wildebeest all around them. Huge numbers are migrating into this area in order to attempt the river crossing!

Wildebeest grazing near the Mara River!

This wildebeest herd was spotted near Kogatende in the northern Serengeti. It was just 5 minutes from the Mara River. It seems the wildebeest played a bit of catch-up from their delay in May and June. They are moving towards the Mara River and attempting these crossings right now!

Large wildebeest herds arrive in Kogatende!

These herds were spotted near Kogatende in the Northern Serengeti. Both videos show large herds of wildebeest arriving in this region, just a 5-minute drive from the Mara River. July is shaping up to be exciting as we get ready to see the wildebeest brave the dangerous river crossings!

Wildebeest herd spotted near Ikoma Gate!

This herd was sighted near Ikoma Gate in the Serengeti National Park. The Ikoma Gate area is known as a prime location to view the migration, particularly around June and July when the herds move from the central Serengeti to the western corridor, heading towards the Grumeti River. Wildebeest can sometimes be seen gathering here to graze on the lush grass, as captured in the video.
