Makgadikgadi Pans & Okavango Delta Safari

Our Africa Safari trip will forever be one of the most memorable and wonderful trips we have taken. Words cannot begin to explain the amazing wildlife we got to see and experience up close. Experiencing these beautiful animals in their natural habitat was beautiful and humbling. Our trackers/guides did an amazing job, not only in tracking but also in educating us on the wildlife. Besides going on several safaris, we also visited Victoria Falls, which is majestic in its own right. A definite must-see. We also experienced several river rides, which were beautiful and calming, and another way to engage with the wildlife up close. We began our safari trip in Cape Town, in which we had a very pleasant stay and tours of the city and Table Mountain.

The sites are amazing!! I have to say, though, what made our trip very memorable were the people we came in contact with. They were so friendly, beautiful and very helpful. This unforgettable trip was made possible with the help of Chrizaan. Every destination we arrived at, we were greeted with transport and a tour guide and we felt so well taken care of. Everything flowed so smoothly. Our group is forever thankful to Discover Africa Safaris.

I was enthusiastic to contact Discover Africa for designing a custom tour across Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Zambia because of the numerous positive reviews. Certainly, they excelled in offering me a truly well-made Itinerary! So this will be yet another glowing review for Discover Africa.

Vihann was my point-of-contact and designed my tour, listened to all my needs and patiently adjusted things as I asked for. In any case what was offered in terms of the lodges (I went to luxury end) were already unquestionably good and exciting. It seems Discover Africa understands the needs of the clients well, as far my experience goes. The entire itinerary was outstanding and on-ground experience exactly reflected what was promised!!

On the whole, it was truly a smooth experience without worries. Everything was organized from point-to-point and everyone made sure, I was transitioned between activities, flights, countries, lodges safely, so it goes without saying that using them was a good value for money.

We had an incredible experience using Discover Africa. Our amazing travel specialist was Megan, who listened to us and put together options that suited our multi-generational 8 day safari adventure to Botswana’s Okavango Delta ending with a visit to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The camps and lodges we stayed had such welcoming staff and knowledgeable guides. Our connections between camps were seamless. This was a huge trip for our family and we are so glad we worked with Megan to organize everything for us. We couldn’t have asked for better guidance and support. I’d definitely work with them again!

We had an incredible safari that started perfectly at our take off airport and continued seamlessly until we arrived back home. We were taken care of by very wonderful and knowledgeable guides and the staff at the lodges were very nice. We ate great food. The safaris were excellent and each camp had a different focus that we enjoyed.

We went to Victoria Falls Safari Club, Chobe Game Lodge, Camp Xakanaxa, Camp Okavango, and Camp Leroo La Tau. We saw and learned about many animals, birds, and vegetation. We loved the variety and if I could change one thing it would be to stay longer at the camps. We have never done a safari before and Megan let us know how everything would work and that let us relax and enjoy Africa. We can not wait to return.

We also went to Cape Town and went on four activities. We enjoyed exploring the Wine Country, learning about Cape Town, and exploring the surrounding area and seeing penguins. We had a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide who made the tours fun. We also went cage diving with sharks and that was beyond belief. Megan listened to what we wanted to do and put together the trip of a lifetime. And, of course, I want to do it again.

Thank you Amanda for arranging that my sister could join mid-way through our trip from Cape Town to Victoria Falls. Africa travel is not easy, but your great help made it all possible. My sis and I shared some amazing moments in the Okavango and Zimbabwe. I love you guys!
