A private reserve in the famed Greater Kruger area, Sabi Sabi has become a renowned destination all on its own in the world of spectacular safari adventures.

This is a place to slow down and take the time to disconnect from daily stressors and reconnect with the wilderness. The sheer expanse of nature laid out in front of you while here will encourage you to breathe deeper and relax fully. Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve is a Big Five safari destination, with elephants, buffaloes, lions, rhinos, and leopards easily spotted.

Hyenas, giraffes, and cheetahs are also common sightings, and birders will be in paradise with more than 300 bird species to spot. You can see these animals during guided morning and evening game drives, as well as environmental walking safaris.

“Being a photography hobbyist, I had laid out my expectations of getting some great photos of wildlife, especially big cats…I managed to have some amazing sightings of lions and the elusive leopard.” Asmar about Sabi Sabi.

There are four luxury safari lodges in the private reserve: Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp, Sabi Sabi Selati Camp, and Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge.
