LET'S START PLANNINGBreathtaking Chundu Island, is only 21kms upstream from Zimbabwe’s legendary Victoria Falls. Eight spacious palm thatched suites, each with their own private deck and perfect view of the Zambezi, are nestled beneath the magnificent riverine trees.
You can choose to be very active with the many day trips available, or simply laze around at the lodge with the surrounding nature, and the Zambezi River at your door step.

River View Suite
Chundu Island has 6 River View Suites, these rooms are either double or twin rooms with a private deck and en-suite bathroom.
Family River View Suite
Chundu Island has two Family River View Suites. The two suites each have a 2nd bedroom with two 3/4 beds for two children up to the age of 18. A third ‘rollaway’ bed can be accommodated in the family suites for a child under the age of 16. If both family suites are occupied, one additional ‘rollaway bed’ can be accommodated in a River View Suite for children up to the age of 16. Please note: The Family River View Suites have one bathroom only.
