Big wildebeest herd crossing at point nr.5

These wildebeest were spotted at crossing point number 5 on the Mara River. This is just one of many crossing points along the Mara River that the wildebeest use to enter the Masai Mara. All of them are amazing spots to see the Great Wildebeest Migration!

Megaherd crosses the Mara river at no 7!

This megaherd was spotted crossing the Mara river at crossing no 7. Another massive and chaotic crossing at no 7! The deadly rocks and potential stampede make this a dangerous crossing for the wildebeest.

Huge Mara river crossing at no 10

This herd was spotted crossing the Mara river at crossing no 10. Another massive river crossing as herds continue to flood south into the Serengeti! The gentle slopes at no 10 make it one of the easier crossing points for the wildebeest.

Megaherd crosses the Mara river at no 10!

This megaherd was spotted crossing the Mara river at crossing no 10. An incredible sighting and certainly one of the most dramatic river crossings of the season! This megaherd was crossing south back into the Serengeti National Park.

Huge herd crosses the Mara river at crossing no 5!

This herd was spotted crossing the Mara river at crossing no 5. A fantastic sighting of a chaotic river crossing! Crossing no 5 is one of the more difficult crossing points for the wildebeest due to the rocks and stronger current which can be seen in the video.

The herds are about to reach Lemala Nanyukie Lodge in the Central Serengeti

The herds are about to reach Lemala Nanyukie Lodge in the Central Serengeti!

Lemala Nanyukie is situated just outside the Central Serengeti’s renowned Seronera, an area famous for its big concentrations of lion, cheetah and leopard. In addition, the area lies in the path of the Wildebeest Migration between April and June, and then again from November to January.
