Situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa, Jaci’s Private Lodge is a mid-sized, family-owned property set along a year-round riverine and surrounded by the serene Tamboti forest. Following a complete rebuild, the lodge unites its historical Safari and Tree camps under one name, offering an intimate yet spacious safari experience.
For your stay, you can choose between six Safari Suites (accommodating up to two adults) and four Safari Suite Expeditions (accommodating two adults, with the option to add up to two children aged 12 and under on Little Expedition Beds). All suites feature glass-fronted walls, deluxe finishes, and private decks overlooking the forest, with access to the central lodge pool.
For larger parties seeking added exclusivity, the property also offers three private villas – Nare Villa, Kubu Villa, and Jaci’s Madikwe House. Each comes with its own private plunge pool, a dedicated hospitality team, and a private safari vehicle and guide. Between game drives, you can relax at the Finfoot Spa, enjoy a swim in the main pool, or unwind in the hides and on the decks overlooking the bush.
