Luxurious Cape Town & Victoria Falls Tour

We just returned from our first African trip and had an absolutely amazing and memory making trip. We are usually self planners for our vacations but with essentially no knowledge I attempted to do research on Africa and felt overwhelmed. As suggested from different sites I did contact several companies and ultimately chose Discover Africa and was certainly glad we did.

We worked with Susan and after a lengthy phone conversation and some e-mail follow ups she put our itinerary together. Revisions were not an issue for her and Susan provided some great knowledge when it came to deciding our ultimate plans. In hindsight, I never would have been able to co-ordinate all the different aspects of accommodations, air and ground transfers, and paperwork the way she did. The availability of using the TravelKey App was great.

Our 15 day safari far exceeded our hopes. Each camp/lodge had their own unique qualities and all the guides and staff overflowed with knowledge and kindness. As I told Susan, when the experienced guide gets his camera out because the siting was rare or exceptional you know you have had a WOW moment.

Susan was great about keeping tabs on us and assuring all was going smoothly. She even contacted the lodge to assist in getting my husband some food items more to his liking. Our trip itinerary consisted of:

We have been blessed with many wonderful travels prior to this trip but it’s fair to say we will go back and explore more of what Africa has to offer and Discover Africa, and Susan will take the lead!

We booked our safari through Chrizaan and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic. From the very beginning, communication was smooth and easy – both via email and WhatsApp – which made the planning process stress-free.

Despite our limited availability, she managed to secure our flights, transfers, and an amazing tented lodge for the exact dates we needed. Everything was perfectly organized: confirmations, payments, and all travel documents were clear and sent well in advance.

During the trip, everything ran seamlessly, and we even had the incredible luck of seeing the Big Five, hippos, rhinos, giraffes, and so much more – truly unforgettable. The lodge itself was excellent: the food was delicious, and they even adapted meals to be gluten free for my partner, which was such a thoughtful detail and made a big difference to our stay.

The service exceeded our expectations, both in quality and in value for money. I would 100% recommend booking with Chrizaan – not only did we enjoy an unforgettable safari, but we also felt truly taken care of throughout the entire journey.

Our adventure began at the breathtaking Victoria Falls and continued to the stunning Chobe Lodge — what an amazing experience! The lodge itself was not only beautiful, but the service and accommodations were absolutely spectacular.

From there, we traveled to the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve surrounded by nature and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Our journey concluded with four amazing nights in vibrant Cape Town, the perfect ending to a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Fantastic Africa vacation! Discover Africa organised the whole trip seamlessly so that I didn’t need to plan anything but just enjoy every day. They provided me with a very detailed daily itinerary, including airport pickups. Inyati Game Lodge in Sabi Sands and Old Drift Lodge in Victoria Falls were excellent choices. We saw lions in action, a leopard devouring a kill in the tree, wild dogs hunting prey…  Victoria Falls was magnificent and beautiful with a half-circle rainbow. We organized a dream vacation to Victoria Falls including Rovos Rail transfer. As Covid hit, the rail portion was canceled and Megan stepped up to the plate and ensured our trip took place. It turned out to be amazing.

We liked the online travel package which was provided which contained plenty of useful information and fully outlined what we could expect on a daily basis as it helped us prepare in advance.

The accommodation recommended was top notch – a 5 star hotel, Vic Falls Safari Club and met all our requirements and was faultless; the same could be said about the tours and transport arrangements. Travelling in these strict health and safety times, having an itinerary that is safe and healthy and well organized sure takes a lot of one’s mind.

Our package included transfers to and from airports, three tours, and accommodation with all meals which meant we could just sit back and enjoy. A great feeling
