Start your honeymoon in “Seven Worlds of Wonder”, Phinda Private Game Reserve, which is situated in the lush Zululand region sandwiched between Mkuze Game Reserve and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park (previously St Lucia Wetland Park). Phinda Private Game Reserve is regarded as a World Heritage Site, comprising 14,000 hectares of prime conservation land. Witness the Big Five, 380 bird species and predators such as cheetah, leopard and lion. The territorial white rhino favour waterholes and wallows. Herds of elephant, impressive nyala antelope, warthog and buffalo move throughout the reserve and are easily spotted. However, nocturnal aardvark, bush pig and greater bushbaby may be encountered on exciting night game drives

Only a short drive from Durban, the Umhlanga coastline begins more-or-less at the landmark lighthouse that dominates Umhlanga’s beach. Situated on the east coast of South Africa just north of the vibrant port city of Durban, Umhlanga faces the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and has the best South African accommodation, with superb holiday and honeymoon luxury hotels and lodges. The golden, sandy beaches stretch northwards for more than 200 kilometres, all the way to the spectacular Isimangaliso Wetland Park.

It is the perfect location for ocean enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike, with great opportunities for diving, swimming, scuba diving, whale watching, dolphin viewing, deep sea fishing and kite boarding. Umhlanga also offers some excellent golf courses for the avid golfer.

Belle Mare Beach is one of the renowned beaches in Mauritius, featuring scores of coconut, palm and evergreen trees and snow white sand which surrounds a deep, calm bay. Activities to look out for include fishing, swimming with dolphins, diving, snorkelling, water skiing/waterboarding, catamaran excursions, kayaking and windsurfing.
