Travel in 19th century style in an open-sided tram to the middle of the bridge to see Victoria Falls from above the Zambezi River
A vintage-style diesel tram, modelled after the open‐sided Brill trams of circa 1890, allows you to enjoy the scenic wonder of the Victoria Falls from the bridge that connects Zimbabwe with Zambia across the Zambezi River.
The tram leaves daily from Vic Falls Station at about 5pm and runs northwards through the loop to the middle of the bridge. This is a distance of some 5 kilometres and takes about 15 minutes. The tram then stops on the middle of the bridge for 30 minutes so you can enjoy the view and some drinks, as well as take photographs. The tram returns to Vic Falls Station at around 6pm.
