This herd was sighted around Ikorongo Game Reserve, which is located in the Serengeti ecosystem adjacent to Serengeti National Park. This reserve can serve as a corridor for migrating wildebeest as they move towards the Masai Mara in Kenya. The wildebeest move through here, as it can sometimes be too dry for them if they stay too long.
