Herd spotted with a hunting leopard!

This herd was spotted near the Mara river at crossing no 7. This hunting leopard was certainly waiting for the herd to let their guard down after the river crossing! The herd was quick to react, but the leopard was still able to catch one unlucky wildebeest.

Running herd spotted near Moru Kopjes

This herd was spotted near Moru Kopjes in the Serengeti National Park. The sound of thundering hooves continues in the central Serengeti as more herds arrive! The wildebeest are quickly making their way south for calving season in the Ndutu area of the Serengeti.

Huge crocodiles lurk during a Mara river crossing!

This herd was spotted crossing the Mara river at crossing no 7B. It doesn’t get more dangerous than this for the wildebeest with such huge crocodiles lurking! While some of the wildebeest will fall prey to the crocodiles, safety in numbers within a gigantic herd like this will ensure that majority make it across the river safely.
