Bianca, thank you for making this a wonderful trip. When we contacted Discover Africa we did not know what to expect. It was the best decision we could have made. The attention to detail made the trip go smoothly. When I asked a question, and there were many, you were always there to answer them. The travel arrangements and accommodations were superior.

We were referred to Discover Africa to book our honeymoon safari by friends who had used them previously and spoke very highly of them and we could not have been happier. We worked with Susan and Adelle and they listened to what we were thinking in regards to amount and types of adventures vs. leisure, settings, and budget and helped craft a great itinerary that made our honeymoon so special. They listened to what we wanted and gave advice when needed to help build this trip together.

We spent 4 days in Zanzibar at a hotel of their recommendation and it was the perfect way to start the trip coming right from the wedding. We then spent 8 nights on Safari and it was everything we could ever dreamed of. We had a private guide, Charmy, for 2 days in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorongoro Crater and he was one of the highlights of our trip. He was so welcoming, knowledgeable about the animals/environment, and was so easy to connect with that he instantly made us comfortable and excited about the trip. He listened to us and what we were hoping to see and also recommended and made it a personal experience that was so memorable. We couldn’t recommend Charmy more to anyone coming on a Safari. He was a perfect guide.

The second 4 days we were in the Northern Serengeti with a different guide, Habib, and had an equally amazing and different experience than the other 3 locations. We learned so much from Habib and Victor about the Great Migration, the habitats and habits of the animals that live on the savannah and really came away with incredible memories and knowledge. It was a phenomenal 4 days here.

The travel, transfers, and communication was seamless and allowed us to travel with ease around the 5 different locations on our 12 night trip. The Discover Africa team was there to help make it as easy for us to enjoy this trip as possible and they succeeded. Thank you!

I cannot speak highly enough of Discover Africa. From the first interaction with Chrizaan, we felt confident that our trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe was going to be the trip of our lives.

Chrizaan was kind and thoughtful and really listened to what we wanted to do. On our bucket list was safari and a luxury rail, and she presented an incredible itinerary covering 5 days at Amaya Lodge in the Timbavati (best 5 days of our LIFE), and a trip on the Rovos Rail. Our trip included Cape Town, Franschhoek, and Victoria Falls. Everything was planned to perfection – from our pickups and drop-offs, flights, all transfers, accommodation, tours, and everything in between.

Safari was our highlight, and Chrizaan’s choice of AMAYA lodge perfectly matched us and our budget.

If we needed anything during our trip, she was a WhatsApp message away and would always respond promptly. If we needed to change a pickup time, she was ready to assist.

We cannot recommend her and Discover Africa enough. I cannot wait to plan our next trip with her help.

Justin planned the best safari for our honeymoon. Everything was coordinated smoothly and the arrangements could not have been better. We are hoping to take another trip to South Africa in the future and will be using Discover Africa again. We have just returned from the most incredible 2 week trip in Africa, travelling to Kruger National Park, Cape Town and Victoria Falls – it was made all the more special by the incredible guidance, planning and organisation of Discover Africa, specifically Cayleigh. During the planning stage, nothing was ever too much trouble – they went to great lengths to listen to what we wanted in terms of destinations and type of accommodation and it all ended up being EXACTLY what we were looking for! The trip itself was seamless, with every single pre-arranged transfer and activity being on schedule. Cayleigh also provided contact details and checked in on us during the trip, to ensure everything was going smoothly. There is also a post trip check-in. Discover Africa provide an extraordinary service and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

In terms of the trip itself, there are just too many highlights to list but some of them were – extraordinary animals on safari and absolutely gorgeous Thornybush Lodge in Kruger, penguins and Table Mountain in Cape Town and basically everything in Zimbabwe – Shongwe Lookout was an intimate boutique hotel, sunset cruise (so many hippos!), elephant encounter, Victoria Falls and Lookout cafe, visit to a local village and the Simunye: Spirit of Africa show. We just want to go back and do it all again!
