Vic Falls, Chobe and Delta Luxury Fly in Safari

My wife and I and two of our friends took this trip, which covered South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. The trip was customized based on our needs and our Tour Manager/ Coordinator, Vihann, planned and executed with such ease and precision, I cannot think of anything to say that would make our experience any better.

Everything went like clockwork and we never had to worry about anything at all. He was also very flexible with last minute changes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We have just returned from the most incredible 2 week trip in Africa, travelling to Kruger National Park, Cape Town and Victoria Falls – it was made all the more special by the incredible guidance, planning and organisation of Discover Africa, specifically Cayleigh. During the planning stage, nothing was ever too much trouble – they went to great lengths to listen to what we wanted in terms of destinations and type of accommodation and it all ended up being EXACTLY what we were looking for! The trip itself was seamless, with every single pre-arranged transfer and activity being on schedule. Cayleigh also provided contact details and checked in on us during the trip, to ensure everything was going smoothly. There is also a post trip check-in. Discover Africa provide an extraordinary service and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

In terms of the trip itself, there are just too many highlights to list but some of them were – extraordinary animals on safari and absolutely gorgeous Thornybush Lodge in Kruger, penguins and Table Mountain in Cape Town and basically everything in Zimbabwe – Shongwe Lookout was an intimate boutique hotel, sunset cruise (so many hippos!), elephant encounter, Victoria Falls and Lookout cafe, visit to a local village and the Simunye: Spirit of Africa show. We just want to go back and do it all again!

We had an amazing trip! Everything was very well planned out, and we were able to have a 5 star experience without breaking the budget! We loved the properties, and knowledgeable, friendly people met us at each transition along the way.

From start to finish, our experience with Discover Africa Safaris was exceptional. The communication throughout the planning stage was prompt, clear, and incredibly thoughtful. We felt truly listened to, and the itinerary was tailored exactly to what we wanted – every detail was perfectly planned and executed.

Susan, our consultant, was absolutely outstanding. She was available to us the entire time we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her knowledge, support, and attention to detail made the entire journey feel smooth and stress-free.

The service, value for money, and overall reliability of Discover Africa Safaris exceeded our expectations. It was the trip of a lifetime, and we wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend – 5 stars from us!

From the support around where and when to travel through to the booking itself, travel preparation and managing communication whilst on the trip – the communication, organisation and professionalism were superb. There really aren’t enough superlatives to describe this trip. Because we didn’t have a hand in planning it (our friend who invited us to join them did) we were a little nervous about all the opportunities for problems to arise (i.e., in the many transfers and handovers required to move from place to place, company to company, and country to country.)

We needn’t have worried one bit. Every step of the way the transfers were perfect; there was ALWAYS someone at the other end waiting for us. If I had any questions along the way I could just message our rep (Megan- the best!) and she would clarify in a very timely way.

Every place we stayed was great; every adventure perfectly fitted us. I would not change a single thing in our entire three-week adventure. I write a kind of travel blog and have people follow all my trips. Everyone was amazed at the things we did and saw, and many are wanting to follow our path and take this journey themselves.

And I encourage them to work with Discover Africa because everything was perfect. I travel a lot and have known my share of travel issues, but I did not have to do anything on this trip but enjoy it. And we enjoyed it immensely!
