Vic Falls, Chobe and Delta Luxury Fly in Safari

After discovering a high number of camps in and around the Okavango, and at a price higher than we typically go for on a safari, we were very unsure on the route to go down for our honeymoon (especially whilst trying to planning our wedding!). So we reached out to Adelle at Discover Africa Safaris and she put the perfect itinerary together for us, which matched our budget, and the experience far exceeded our expectations!

Rhys and Grace's Botswana Experience

We had a fantastic time at Rra Dinare, Moremi Crossing and Nxai Pan camps. All of the camps are managed by Kwando Safaris who are also exceptional. We had great wildlife sightings at all 3 camps – it was very hard to choose which camp we preferred as they are all amazing in their own way, as are the guides and staff at all camps. Adelle had also arranged private dinners and champagne for us at 2 of the 3 camps, which was a lovely addition. Our highlight was the camping out in the bush evening under the stars listening to the hippos calling and lions roaring all night.

We were looking for a safari tour for our honeymoon and it has been an extremely wonderful experience with Discover Africa Safaris and it has been a pleasure working with Susan Veldman who was very well organised in putting together a customised Safari itinerary for us. She was very prompt and helpful in answering our queries that we have with our flights and making special arrangements to make our stay at every safari lodge very romantic.

Very knowledgeable and thoughtful in communicating with us on the different accommodation to provide us a restful experience for our honeymoon. The Safari experience though pricey was worth it if you are looking for going to the Safari for the first time. We were very thankful for how the safari lodges that make every effort to give us as many exposure to a wide range of activities. Thank you once again to Discover Africa Safaris and we are excited to be able to join again!

Barry helped me plan my dream safari to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. I was nervous about getting transportation from the airport to my lodges and making sure I was able to make all my safaris on time. Barry planned my itinerary very carefully so I didn’t have anything to worry about.

He was also very good at responding to me consistently whenever I had questions. Sabi Sands, in South Africa, was my favourite. I was so lucky to be able to see the Big 5 on the very first game drive! The lodges in Sabi Sands were so luxurious and the hospitality was incredible. Each country had different terrain and was unique in its own way. I can’t wait to plan my next safari to Africa!

Chrizaan from Discover Africa created an amazing tour for me and my Mum, and somehow managed to get us a single room each for most of our stay, at better prices than other operators. My Mum has mobility limitations, and Chrizaan ensured that all of the amazing camps we stayed at would be accessible for her. The staff at the camps were so warm, welcoming and helpful. The flight logistics were seamless. The food was wonderful. I’ve never seen a better range of animals on any other safari. The guides and the trackers had unbelievable knowledge. I’ve already recommended Discover Africa to others, and would definitely use them again.

Each of the locations chosen by our Consultant Susan, exceeded our expectations. The lodges we stayed, were very respectful of the environment and supportive of the local communities.

At Saguni lodge the staff were awesome, specially our guide, Jinks, his knowledge really helped us appreciate all the things we experienced during our safari.

The best holiday without any cares or worries. The whole package of information with our itinerary etc was beautifully presented and explained everything.

Very professional. The accommodation was perfect and the staff at Ilala Lodge, Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp and Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero Lodge were so welcoming and helpful. Special mention must be made of Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero Lodge. It must be the flagship Sanctuary Lodge in the world! The staff there were exceptional and saw to every detail and beyond. Towels shaped into swans or hearts etc. on the beds with bougainvillea flowers around them. They went the extra mile. The tour guides at both safari lodges were so knowledgeable and accommodating in trying to find wonderful places for sun-downers and morning teas and in finding lion etc.

We felt safe in their hands and it was great to be able to joke and laugh with them. Thank you to all who made our holiday a wonderful experience.
