Day 1

Victoria Falls (Zambia)

Staying at Mukwa River Lodge

Arrive at Livingstone airport where you are met and transferred to Mukwa River Lodge.

Situated across from the Zambezi national park, you are able to see animals come down to the river to have a drink or graze on the banks of the Zambezi, all from the comfort of your own private deck.

Observe elephants and other captivating wildlife as they gracefully traverse the banks of the majestic Zambezi River.

Day 2

Liuwa Plains National Park

Staying at King Lewanika

Transfer to Livingstone airport for the scheduled charter flight to Liuwa Plains.

King Lewanika is your home away from home for the next 3 nights. Depending on the wildlife movements, you will get to see the wildebeest migration (yes, there is a migration on the plains) and completely disconnect from the worries of everyday life.

The Liuwa Plain is a photographer’s dream, with every season offering a different backdrop for capturing the robust wildlife. Your experienced guides will take you on memorable and intimate safari excursions to admire some of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife—including a growing cheetah population—on foot, in a vehicle or by canoe (in season).

Day 3-4

Liuwa Plains National Park

Staying at King Lewanika

Your camp manager and ranger will plan your days, customized to your preferences and the weather and animal movement patterns. This is a kingdom of golden light and vast blue skies, where space is endless and time stands still. You have a choice of game drives, safari walks, or canoeing (dependent on water levels). Back at camp after a day of adventure, warm yourself by the campfire under an endless dome of stars while listening to the legend of Lady Liuwa, matriarch of the local lion pride.

End of Itinerary

Say your good-byes and enjoy a hearty breakfast before the transfer to the airstrip. Scheduled charter flight to Livingstone, where you connect with your onward flight; or extend your safari in Botswana or South Africa.
