We booked our 10-day safari in Tanzania and Kenya through Discover Africa, and it exceeded every expectation. From our first conversation through the end of our journey, everything was exceptionally well organized, allowing us to focus entirely on enjoying the experience.

Every transfer, flight, and accommodation was seamlessly coordinated. We never had to worry about logistics, and everything ran exactly as planned.

The itinerary itself was phenomenal. We experienced Cape Town, Victoria Falls, Tanzania, and Kenya, culminating in an unforgettable safari where we witnessed the Great Migration, saw the Big Five, and had incredible wildlife encounters throughout. The accommodations Discover Africa selected were all excellent, each offering something unique while consistently delivering outstanding hospitality and service.

What impressed us most was that Discover Africa didn’t simply book hotels and flights. They helped craft an experience. The pacing of the trip, the choice of camps, and the routing between destinations all came together to create a vacation we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.

All of our guides/outfitters were extremely knowledgable and were great with the logistics/planning to help make sure we were always where we needed to be (and enjoying ourselves) every part of our trip. We had the spectacular wildlife sightings and encounters we’d always dreamed of. And, we felt safe, and well taken care of the entire time. At several times during our trip, we found ourselves saying “…this trip is incredible…Megan crushed it!”

I found my experience with Discover Africa Safaris to be a very pleasant one. I took a 5 night Maasai Mara safari in Kenya. Communication was first class from the get go, my questions were answered quickly and precisely, with lots of information available. Pick up from my Nairobi hotel to my destination in the Maasai Mara and return went perfectly.

The tour itself was superb with the Great Migration just commencing and animals everywhere!! It was a once in a lifetime safari! Would thoroughly recommend to every traveler.

Joining a safari for one proved to be challenging in 2020. Once I was contacted by Adelle at Discover Africa, she found me safaris I didn’t even know existed from internet searching.

I couldn’t have done it without her! It’s definitely better to have someone on the ground in Africa helping you. I will certainly use them in future Africa travels. Discover Africa and Carel has put in such an effort for us to experience the annual wildebeest migration, meticulous planning and accurate predictions with logical and the best accommodation options both sides of the Mara River guaranteed us crossings, we did manage to see the herds cross on the Serengeti side and again on the Masai Mara side, it felt good that they had this covered!
