The experience felt seamless from start to finish. Our trip felt perfectly tailored to what we were looking for. The lodges, staff, guides, transportation, every aspect was top tier. We booked a safari through Discover Africa for Botswana and Zambia and it was fantastic! Chrizaan was super helpful and accommodating, especially when we had to change our dates of travel slightly. She worked with the lodges to accommodate us and found a solution. She booked us in terrific tented safari lodges in Botswana with the nicest staff and very comfortable, modern accommodations. We were so fortunate to see the “Big 5” and even cheetahs with our trusted guides and we also encountered very beautiful birdlife. We found the price of the trip to be reasonable and the food and lodgings were all very good.

It was a wonderful trip that we’ll remember forever and we highly recommend Discover Africa for booking your trips!!

Diane Du Plessis at Discover Africa planned an incredible safari to Botswana and Zimbabwe for my friend and I. She truly listened to our interests and created an itinerary that was personalized for where we wanted to travel and what we wanted to experience. The lodges she recommended were fantastic! Each camp was uniquely different, allowing us the opportunity to experience a variety of accommodation style and activities. We stayed at the Victoria & Alfred in Cape Town, Camp Kalahari, Camp Moremi, Camp Okavango, and Chobe Game Lodge in Botswana, the Elephant Camp in Zimbabwe, and the Peech in Johannesburg. She arranged all the transfers between countries, camps, and activities that went perfectly and included a wonderful surprise having a helicopter transfer included. The safari drives, boat cruises, Victoria Falls tour, and Cape tour were amazing, as we saw so many animals and beautiful locations. We will certainly use Discover Africa for planning another African safari!

We set up a trip to visit Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls. That was a lot to squeeze into two weeks, but we wouldn’t have dropped anything off, just stayed a little longer so we would have had a minimum of 2 nights at every stop. The highlights were wine tasting in Stellenbosch, touring Cape Town, our fabulous stay off the grid in the Okavango Delta, game drives in Chobe, and seeing Victoria Falls.

We had a group of 16 so no small task to get an itinerary that suited all, but Susan was very patient as we had to shift dates due to school schedules. We had 7 children in our group and everyone along the way was very accommodating. Our group was very compatible, however, so all in all we enjoyed the camaraderie.

No big issues along the way – just some minor problems. Some of us got sick for a day but it passed quickly and we only had to drop off a game drive or two. The food was wonderful and every place we stayed at set up one big table where we could dine together. Susan kept in close contact along the way and fixed a few things for us. The trip was great value for the money! Can’t wait to go back!!

Booked a family holiday in South African, Botswana and Namibia with Megan from Discover Africa.

I cannot praise them highly enough. Everything was spot on from the day we booked. What was surprising to me most Travel Companies book and forget but not Megan or Discover Africa. I regularly had emails and when it came to our trip a bon voyage they were amazing.
