A Ngorongoro Safari Review

After initially contacting Discover Africa, Karl Svendsen contacted me and we started the process of getting a quote and defining an itinerary for a safari to Tanzania.

Karl was extremely professional and timely in his responses and in short we had it all sorted out. He answered my questions with accuracy and even though the planning took a few months, all went smoothly. When the time came, Karl assisted me with some last-minute questions and sent me all what we needed to go (my wife, our two kids and me.

Upon arrival, the guide, Seph was expecting us at the airport and from there a fantastic experience was started. All the details of the trip had been professionally handled and there were no surprises (well, there were plenty… but of the good ones!). The hotels were up to the expectation, food was delicious and the guide was very, very knowledgeable and did a great job in helping with our kids (3 and 7 yrs old).

We went to lake Manyara, Nogorongoro and Serengeti. Seph was very skilled in helping us find good game to watch, and doing so in a safe way. He was very well aware of the rules of each park and while always respecting them, he found the best opportunities for us to enjoy the animals of all kinds.

I can only say, this agency is a great deal: the price is very competitive and they work with you to design an experience for your budget and expectations. Next time I go to Africa I will, with no hesitation, use them again.
