Khwai Conservancy

Staying at Machaba Camp

Arrive at Maun airport and connect with the scheduled seat in charter flight to Khwai airstrip. On arrival, meet with your guide and transfer to the lodge via a meandering game drive. Relax at camp before the afternoon game viewing activity. Your 3 night stay at Machaba includes all meals, selected beverages and the scheduled activities. You will have 2 full days to enjoy this increasingly popular area of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy morning and evening game drives, experience a mekoro ride (dug out canoe), walking safari, visit a local community or relax at the pool with incredible views over the Khwai River.

Day 4-6

Okavango Delta

Staying at Gomoti Plains Camp

Today you will enjoy a scenic flight over the Delta towards your next destination, the Gomoti Plains Camp which is situated on the edge of the Gomoti river system. The area is known for its large concentrations of wildlife which thrive on the Gomoti plains and waterways. Some of the more interesting finds in this new unique area include wild dog dens, large prides of lions, big herds of buffalo, recent sightings of leopard and cheetah and plentiful other wildlife throughout the area. Spend 3 nights at Gomoti Plains enjoying the diverse activities (water level dependant).

Day 7 - 9

Southern Hwange National Park

Staying at Verney’s Camp

Today you depart Botswana to head towards the beautiful country of Zimbabwe, and enjoy your safari in a different environment. You will be flown to Kasane and then transferred by road across the border to Victoria Falls Airport - the transfer time is approximately 45 minutes. You will then fly to Manga Airstrip in the Hwange National Park ( about a 45 minute flight) and transferred to Verney's Camp - your home for the next 3 nights. The Camp is located at Verney’s Pan, which is situated on a large open floodplain surrounded by teak forest typical of Hwange National Park. The waterhole at Verney’s plays host to numerous animals and is a playground for the famous elephant herds of Hwange. Enjoy game drives, and walks and immerse yourself into this remote section of the park.
