Becoming a Herdtracker Contributor

We live in Australia and I honestly didn’t know who to contact about organising a trip of a lifetime and I really wanted someone that knew Africa and not someone that was from Australia and just guessed.

I found Discover Africa on TikTok and got in touch with Justin and my gosh I am so beyond happy we did!

He was amazing from day one. He answered all my questions even the ones I felt were a bit silly to ask but it was no problem at all. He was beyond fantastic! There are no words that I explain what Justin did for us and the experience he has given us that will remain with us for a lifetime.

The itinerary was incredible with some extras he booked that I wouldn’t even of thought about! He organised everything from transfers to accommodation flights to a sunset cruise that were all beyond amazing! We will never ever be able to thank you enough Justin but if you live anywhere in the world and want to have an experience of a lifetime then book with Justin from Discover Africa!!!

We worked with Discover Africa to arrange our first ever Safari. Chrizaan from Discover Africa did a tremendous job in first understanding our requirements and wishes and then translating them into the perfect trip for us!

Everything was organized to the point and we did not have to fret about anything. We just had to bring our passport, money and good mood to enjoy an incredible vacation.

We felt like travelling with family!

Everybody was extremely friendly and the game reserves and lodges were first class. We saw all the animals we could have wished for and even more. We took so many photos, it will take weeks for us to decide which are the best ones. This is a great “problem” to have after such an exciting vacation. We are already talking about our next trip to Africa – and we would choose Discover Africa to organize the next trip for us again!

This was our first experience using an online booking agent and it was outstanding. Justin went through our requirements even though we were pretty sure we knew what we wanted (we really didn’t!) and came up with a plan that met our needs, including coordination with our existing travel plans. I can’t say enough good things about Justin and the folks at Discover Africa Safaris.

Susan and the team from Discover Africa you have excelled yourself through the initial contact to the very end of our journey. We were dazzled with the views of Cape Town. Victoria Falls and of course the game parks. The animals did not disappoint the spectacular service of all the staff will be etched in our memories forever.

The animals were the stars of the show but I have to mention the service,food and accomodation was out of this world. I took this tour with my 23 year old son and i was so impressed with all that this beautiful country had to offer. Susan, from the Wales family you are one amazing lady. Thank you again. This trip was all about making memories, and it did just that. Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Mala Mala Safari Lodge, Victoria Falls, and finally Zanzibar. Our boutique hotels along the way were nothing less than stunning, as was Lanzarac Manor in Stellenbosch. The lasting memory is that of Mala Mala. If I could score it higher than 100%, then I would. So well organised.

Brilliant guide – Geena. The big five, not once but on several occasions. Excellent accommodation and first-rate staff. The whole trip went like a dream thanks to Vihann Van Wyk who checked in with us several times and even checked us in for all of our flights. I’d strongly recommend Discover Africa Safaris to anyone considering a trip to Africa and especially a safari. Well done Discover Africa. One off the bucket list!

My mum and I used Discover Africa Safaris to organise a 3 week trip to Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. Devryn (Dev) was absolutely fantastic. He really listened to what we were after and crafted a superb itinerary from beginning to end. He had some great advice about which direction to go and how to get between places and while mum and I were dubious about his ‘gradual experience crescendo’ (we thought we didn’t care if we ping ponged around) however, he was spot on and I think that totally made the trip for us! The whole thing went like clockwork and I would recommend them to anyone who would like a special experience on the beautiful African continent!
