Set deep in the eastern Serengeti, Namiri Plains lies in one of the most remote corners of the park, where endless grasslands stretch out under vast skies. The camp has a small, intimate feel, with just eleven tented suites designed for spacious indoor–outdoor living.

Each suite blends canvas and stone, with en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, private verandas, and large viewing windows. The tents are spaced well apart for privacy and furnished with natural materials and soothing tones. Solar power, generator backup, and thoughtful eco-design help maintain comfort in this remote setting.

Namiri Plains’ main area provides comfortable shared spaces: a dining tent, an airy lounge with a library, and an outdoor seating deck from which you can gaze out across the plains. There is a swimming pool for a refreshing dip between safari outings and spa facilities for massages. Evening fires in the boma offer a chance to relax under star-filled skies.

The riverbed is sustained by underground water sources, drawing wildlife year-round. Plains game gather here to drink, and predators soon follow. Lions, cheetahs, and even servals thrive in this part of the Serengeti, making the area renowned for big cat sightings.
