Camp Hwange offers an authentic safari experience in the heart of Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park.
Founded in 2010, this traditional bush camp is strategically located in a private concession, nestled between diverse habitats that promise exceptional game viewing, especially from April to November.
The camp features eight canvas-walled, thatched-roof units, including a family room, all overlooking a natural waterhole. Each spacious, airy room ensures privacy and immerses you in the sights and sounds of the African bush. The central, open-sided lounge and dining area serves as the camp’s hub, fostering a convivial atmosphere.
Camp Hwange prides itself on its guided experiences, with a strong emphasis on walking safaris and tracking. Cool off in the reservoir-style pool, enjoy romantic dinners on the raised deck, or gather around the firepit to start and end their days. With its strategic location between mopane woodlands and teak forests, Camp Hwange offers diverse wildlife encounters in an intimate, rustic setting.
