Day 1

Lake Manyara National Park

Arrival at JRO airport where you are met and assisted for the domestic flight. Note that depending on your time of arrival, you might need a pre-night in Arusha.

Arrival at Lake Manyara airstrip and meet your local guide for the transfer to the lodge.

Day 2

Lake Manyara National Park

This unique park, flanked by the dramatic Rift Valley and soda lake has an incredible diversity of habitats. The nine rivers, five of which are permanent, support a variety of wildlife and birdlife and extraordinary trees including baobabs.

Chat to your guide to plan your days, including game viewing and walk to the lake. The lake creates a spectacular translucence, making sunrises and sunsets truly spectacular. The Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant families it was established to protect. The shores of the lake attract more than 400 species of waterfowl and migrant birds.

An interactive kitchen allows you to observe or participate in the preparation of delectable menus served in the boma. In the afternoon, relax at the sparkling pool or spend time with the Maasai running through local communities.

Should you wish to visit the Ngorongoro Crater, this must be pre-booked (additional cost for the day excursion).

Northern Serengeti

Staying at andBeyond Klein’s Camp

Early breakfast and transfer back to Manyara airstrip for your flight to the Serengeti.

Arrive in Lobo airstrip, meet with your guide and transfer via a meandering game drive to the eastern section of the park, well away from the busy area of the Central Serengeti. Meaning ‘endless plains’ in the Maasai language, the Serengeti is undoubtedly one of the world’s most celebrated wilderness areas.

Enjoy exclusive game viewing, thrilling night game drives, bush dining, Maasai culture and old-fashioned safari luxury.

Embodying the very soul of the Serengeti, this private and remote camp offers guests the spirit of wild Africa. Set in a gentle yet rugged landscape, this Camp reflects the heart of this untamed land with a vintage safari style. The stone interiors open up to breathtaking panoramas, with open fireplaces to keep the chill away. Northern Serengeti

Staying at andBeyond Klein’s Camp

Enjoy 2 full days of game viewing. Your guide will chat with you in terms of times, and you might want to spend a full day on a game drive with a picnic lunch.

In this pristine wilderness blessed with abundant wildlife, your senses, dulled over the years by city traffic, lights and the distractions of the modern world, are quickly restored to a heightened state as you are guided through the bush for an up-close and personal experience with nature and all it entails.

Experience this 10,000-hectare (24,700-acre) wilderness concession with a range of activities: explore Africa on foot, free from the constraints of roads and vehicles. Or go on a night drive, discovering the extraordinary feeling of being out in the untouched terrain at night.

End Of Itinerary

Last morning in the bush, breakfast in camp and transfer back to Lobo airstrip on time for your flight to Kilimanjaro airport.

Time at leisure at the airport (depending on your flight time, we can add a day excursion or room nearby) until your onward flight, or contact us to extend your safari.
