Located in the heart of the Mara Triangle within the Masai Mara National Reserve, Wilderness Mara occupies a premier position along the banks of the Mara River. Formerly known as Little Governors’ Camp, this refurbished retreat offers unrivalled access to both sides of the river, placing you in the front row for the dramatic Great Migration crossings.
This camp features just 12 elevated tented suites designed with a modern take on classic East African style. The interiors offer refined comfort with ensuite bathrooms featuring both indoor and outdoor showers. The camp also features a fully equipped gym and a dedicated photographic studio where you can edit your wildlife captures from the day.
Between morning and afternoon game drives, you are invited to relax at the outdoor swimming pool or visit the on-site spa for a rejuvenating wellness treatment. This tranquil setting is perfect for photographers, birdwatchers, and couples seeking a secluded, high-end safari experience in one of Kenya’s most wildlife-rich regions.
