While you’re on safari in Rwanda, local staff at safari lodges and your guides will be able to assist with medical emergencies and will know who to call.
If no other assistance is at hand, emergency numbers are 111 for the fire department, 112 for ambulances and medical emergencies, 113 for traffic accidents, and 999 for the police.
Private hospitals in Kigali include the King Faisal Hospital (tel: 3939 / +250 788 123 200) and Polyclinique du Plateau (tel: +250 788 305 857 / +250 788 309 318). A recommended pharmacy is the Pharmacie Conseil (tel: +250 788 381 219).
