Hi Carel,
Since the crossing yesterday morning there have been large numbers of the Serengeti wildebeest congregating on the Bila Shaka and northern Rhino Ridge plains. The grass is quite long here hence many of the wildebeest in tight groups.
Topi Plains has many wildebeest as well in larger scattered herds as the grass is shorter.
Yesterday afternoon and early evening there was a huge build up on the main crossing from the Serena aside, I am sure it will be a Gnu good day for us!!
Thanks,
Patrick
