Serengeti Wilderness Camp is situated in a prime location in the central Serengeti, overlooking a wildlife-rich valley with a permanent water source. This classic tented camp offers seclusion, allowing you to relax away from busier areas while still enjoying excellent access to prime game-viewing spots. The camp is designed to minimise its environmental footprint, utilising solar power for lighting and gravity-fed, solar-heated showers to conserve water.
Each tent includes a large en-suite bathroom with a flush toilet, gravity-fed hot shower, and basin with vanity. Unwind on your private verandah, an ideal spot for watching the passing wildlife. A family tent is also available, suitable for families with young children aged six years and above. The camp also features a dining tent where you can enjoy sumptuous meals , a sociable lounge tent with a well-stocked bar and a small reference library , and a cosy campfire for evening sundowners and snacks.
The Seronera area, with its network of river valleys, supports a diverse wildlife population including big cats, elephants, and buffalo herds. Birding in the area is particularly rewarding, and a balloon safari offers a breathtaking bird’s-eye view as you float above the Serengeti plains. This camp is ideal for those seeking an intimate safari experience, offering traditional ‘under canvas’ accommodation with superb food, a relaxing atmosphere, and great hospitality.
