Rebuilt in 2025 with a focus on sustainability, Baines’ Lodge is the most intimate property in the A&K Sanctuary portfolio, featuring just six stilted suites in Botswana’s UNESCO-listed Okavango Delta. Located within a private concession adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve, the lodge provides an ideal setting for romantic getaways.
Each expansive suite rises from the papyrus reeds, offering a perfect blend of pioneer spirit and modern luxury with light, airy bedrooms that open onto curved terraces overlooking the Boro River and Okavango Delta. Ceiling fans and mosquito nets add a vintage touch, but the overall vibe is modern boutique retreat.
The elevated wooden suites feature outdoor baths and showers on private decks, perfect for stargazing while soaking. With a maximum of four passengers per game vehicle and access to both water and land activities, Baines’ Lodge offers an exclusive safari experience in one of Africa’s most significant wetland habitats.
