The experience felt seamless from start to finish. Our trip felt perfectly tailored to what we were looking for. You can tell that they truly listened to your situation and crafted the trip specifically for you. Planning an African safari can easily feel overwhelming, but Justin gave us nothing but confidence. The lodges, staff, guides, transportation, every aspect was top tier. There was constant communication from everyone on the ground to make sure you were where you needed to be on each leg of the trip. Save yourself the option overload and set up a call. Cayleigh planned the perfect safari for us! The safari and tour following were exactly what we wanted. Rockfig was an amazing luxury experience that allowed us to see the big 5 and so much more. Our trip with Discover Africa was worth every penny!

We were initially overwhelmed with all of the options for African Safaris when we first started planning our trip. Luckily, Discover Africa responded promptly to our initial request for information and we were quickly scheduled for an initial consult with Adelle Bell.

Adelle presented several options and really listened to our feedback to tailor a perfect week in the African bush for our honeymoon. She took care of absolutely everything for us besides the international flights, which was a big weight off our shoulders after just planning so much time planning our wedding ourselves. She was also extremely communicative throughout the planning process and while we were on the ground the week of our honeymoon as well.

We spent 3 nights at Motswari in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve followed by 3 nights at Arathusa in Sabi Sands Private Game reserve. Both lodges and reserves surpassed our expectations. Motswari felt like a much more traditional and authentic safari experience, while Arathusa felt more up-scale and resort like. The staff and hospitality at both were fantastic, and the game drives surpassed our expectations immediately.

If you are considering booking a vacation to Africa, I would highly recommend booking through Discover Africa and asking for Adelle specifically. She will knock it out of the park!

The best trip of our lives!! I am so glad I came across Discover Africa and was paired with Dev. We started with a video chat and Dev listened to my vision for the trip- all of the things I was excited to do, and he shared his travel expertise. He took those ideas and created template for my dream trip to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. Lots of back and forth finalizing the trip (I am very detail oriented in my planning and so is Dev, thankfully) and we came up with the perfect itinerary.

Dev was always quick to get back to me, which I appreciated. Dev and his team arranged all of our 6+ bush flights between the cities/countries, hotels, full transportation, accommodation etc. From the second we landed in Cape Town, my husband and I felt fully taken care of and safe. Dev recommended Leopard Hills for our safari lodge in the Sabi Sands- and were BLOWN away by them in every aspect. We had a boutique experience in Leopard hills as it only has 8 rooms and we felt very catered to. The lodge’s staff was top notch and we saw about 10 leopards, many lions/lioness, rare african wild dogs, hippos, rhinos, hyenas…you name it.

This was everything we wanted. This lodge was very ethical, which was important to us. There is so much that goes into planning the ideal African Safari and it is very helpful to have a good planner. At one point in Zimbabwe, I had to call Dev for a concern I had at the lodge. He answered right away and handled the issue. Couldn’t ask for more.

We have traveled to 20+ countries at this point and I can confidently say that this trip comes #1. Hands down would recommend this team if you are looking for an amazing safari experience.
