Here you will find more then 50 famous wine houses as Van Loveren, Springfield, De Wethof, Bon Courage and Graham Beck, to name a few.

These friendly wineries excel in hospitality and you are welcome to visit their cellars and to taste their wines and get their interesting information.

A choice of gastronomic lunch restaurants to choose from completes a unique day or half day trip from Bloomestate.

Bloomestates breakfast has become famous over the years and the fluffy eggs in unique “all over the world” combinations has surprised already many guests…

On request there are lunches or small platters available, and for evening dinners the owners can recommend many of the surrounding restaurants.

From fine dining to simple, but delicious, dinners are available in Swellendam and you will find an extensive list with the (local) specialities each restaurant has to offer in your room.

Swellendam is the third oldest town in South Africa and its centre boasts with historical buildings.
