Start your journey with a flight from Johannesburg Airport direct into Madikwe Game Reserve. On arrival, you will be met by a representative from Madikwe Lelapa Lodge and transferred to the lodge for check-in. Depending on your flight arrival time, you may enjoy your first late afternoon game drive followed by dinner at the lodge.

Two full days to enjoy the facilities at Lelapa Lodge including a morning and evening game drive each day with your qualified ranger or enjoy a bush walk. You will also have some time in the afternoon to relax in your private plunge pool, or enjoy a spa treatment.

This morning, dependent on your flight departure time, you will enjoy your final game drive followed by breakfast. Thereafter you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Johannesburg for your onward journey.

Madikwe Lelapa Lodge is situated within the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, a sprawling wilderness known for its thriving populations of the Big Five and rare African wild dogs.

Madikwe Lelapa Lodge offers twelve spacious suites that balance Afro-chic décor with contemporary comfort. Eight luxury suites provide a secluded retreat for couples or solo travellers, while four family-appointed suites include adjoining rooms with bunk beds to keep younger explorers close. Every suite features an open-plan design with a wood-burning fireplace for chilly evenings and large glass doors that open onto a private deck and plunge pool.

The lodge facilities serve as a natural gathering place, featuring a communal swimming pool and the premier Madikwe Safari Lodge spa for restorative ecotherapy treatments.
