Day 1-3

Cape Town

Staying at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel

Arrive in Cape Town and meet with our driver for the transfer to your hotel. Welcome to The Mother City!

Your stay includes 3 nights at the Mount Nelson, including breakfast. Chat to us to customise your experience as we can add curated guided day excursions to the wine valleys, the Cape Peninsula, walking city tour and Robben Island, to name a few ideas. Kayak with the penguins, hike Table Mountain, enjoy a scenic helicopter flight, paraglide over the beachfront, ride a Harley along the coastal roads, are also some of the more adventurous options.

Back at the hotel, perfectly located within large gardens and a view over Table Mountain, you can relax by the pool or book a spa treatment. This iconic pink lady, which has been captivating visitors since 1899, is the beating heart of Cape Town. With pioneering gastronomy with local roots and close collaboration with South Africa’s creative community, the Nellie has a vintage heart and innovative spirit.

You will then fly out of Cape Town for Maun, Botswana.

Day 4-5

Moremi Game Reserve

Staying at Eagle Island Lodge, A Belmond Safari

Arrive Maun and transfer to the local terminal for the scheduled charter flight to the Delta. Once at the airstrip, you are met by the Eagle Island Lodge safari guide and transfer to camp. Your stay includes all your meals, selected beverages and the shared game viewing activities.

Integral to the rich history of Botswana, the lodge was established in the 1900s when intrepid explorers and crocodile hunters first flocked to the delta. Eagle Island Lodge is among the most environmentally friendly lodges in the country, and the game drives are a truly intimate way to get closer to the country's natural wonders.

Set off on a new adventure each day and get up close with elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, big cats and more. Depending on water levels, head out before dawn by mokoro, encountering swooping African fish eagles and basking crocodiles.

Back at camp, your luxury tented room is equipped with a daybed, desk, fully-stocked minibar and discreet air conditioning. An en-suite bathroom features a walled outdoor shower with a window overlooking the delta, a large indoor bathtub and walk-in wardrobe.

Day 6-7

Savuti - Chobe National Park

Staying at Savute Elephant Lodge, A Belmond Safari

After breakfast, you are transferred to the airstrip for the scheduled charter flight to the next camp, Savute Elephant Lodge.

When David Livingstone explored the area in 1851 he described the Savute as a marsh. Since then, the Channel alternates between flowing free and drying up. The position of the lodge is unrivalled; with animals often seen visiting the camp and the waterhole.

Here again you are looked after with all your meals included, selected beverages and the daily shared scheduled game drives. Beside the mysterious Savute Channel, this tented oasis is the perfect base to discover the wonders of Chobe National Park.

Early morning and afternoon game drives let you encounter Africa’s largest elephant population. You may also spot lions, wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas. Enjoy rare sightings of rock-climbing klipspringers and elegant roan. Depending on the season, you may also catch the second largest migration of zebra in Africa.

Head out to the unique viewing hide at dusk or dawn, overlooking the watering hole, and see elephants, hyenas and cheetahs in their element. Then find a serene welcome back at the lodge. The contemporary interiors reflects the earthy tones of the wilderness, while eco-friendly design features keep you in harmony with the stunning landscape.

Day 8-9

Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Staying at The Victoria Falls Hotel

You are transferred to the airstrip, on time for the scheduled charter flight to Kasane. From there you are met by our representative for the road transfer to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

Arrive at the hotel, check in and relax. Take in the wonderful vistas, and the closeness to the Falls. A proud member of Leading Hotels of the World, the Edwardian-style hotel, built in 1904, was splendidly redecorated in 2013 to combine its traditional majesty with modern sophistication. For more than 110 years The Victoria Falls Hotel has been a luxury icon in Africa.
