Your 10-Day Itinerary

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and transfer to the luxury guest house, located in the Atlantic Seaboard. You will spend 4x nights at the Clarendon Bantry Bay, on a B&B basis. We have included in your stay 2 full days of guided private excursions: one to Cape Point, visiting the rugged scenic drive to the "tip" of Africa; and one to the Cape Winelands, including two delicious wine tastings and time to walk around the vineyards in Franschhoek, and the historical town of Stellenbosch. The balance of your stay is at leisure, you can choose to do some shopping at the V&A Waterfront, discover the blue flag beach not far from the guest house; or we can book additional excursions to customize your stay. Cape Town is no doubt the undisputed culinary capital of South Africa. It is home to some of the country’s best and most inventive chefs and we will be happy to share our restaurants recommendations to complement your experience.

Transfer to Cape Town airport on time for your flight to KMIA (MQP) and a connection with the scheduled charter flight to the Kruger Park's airstrip. Once landed, you are met by the lodge for your road transfer. Check in and relax before the afternoon game drive. Your stay includes all your meals, selected beverages and two shared game drives per day. The twice-daily game drives led by experienced guides and trackers explore this remarkable Big Five wilderness. The Sabi Sand Nature Reserve is famous worldwide for its big cat sightings, but also supports large antelope herds and healthy populations of other rare predators. Thrilling bush walks are arranged daily for an immersive wilderness experience. Back at lodge, relax in your magnificent suite with its spacious lounge and airy bedroom, with a luxurious bathroom offering a shower and freestanding bath. Throughout the suite, sliding doors open onto a wide private deck with a heated plunge pool and outdoor shower where you can enjoy the night sky and wild sounds of nature’s amphitheater around you.

Early wake up call and breakfast before the road transfer to KMIA (MQP) Airport for your flight to Livingstone, Zambia. On arrival you'll be met and transferred to Tongabezi Lodge. Tongabezi is the ultimate destination for romance! Your stay includes your meals, selected beverages and scheduled activities. On arrival, chat to the camp manager in order to plan your days and customized your stay as per your preferences, you can choose to fill your days, or rather relax and enjoy the views from the lodge.

A wide range of activities are on offer during your stay at Tongabezi. Marvel at the mighty Victoria Falls, take an early morning game drive around the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, drift down the Zambezi River on a sunset boat cruise, or indulge in a romantic sampan dinner floating out on the river. Please note that all park and museum entrance fees are to be settled directly. Apart from this there are many optional activities including seeing the Falls by helicopter, at the end of a bungy rope or from the bottom up, while navigating the rapids, you can chat to us before hand to book a special excursion. We had a 9N/ 10D tour planned by Discover Africa. Our experience was nothing short of AMAZING!! We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience. We landed at Johannesburg and were there just for 2 days. We covered the Apartheid Museum, visited Soweto and a Joburg City Tour. We were then transferred to Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge. Our drive there was so beautiful. We already spotted one of the Big5 on the way itself. Our guide for the day also stopped at Azul pitstop and we spotted Sables, Rhinos, Impalas and other antelopes. We could already feel the thrill of our Safari experience.

On arriving at Hoyo Hoyo, we were welcomed by the manager himself and shortly left on our afternoon game drive. On our first game drive itself, we spotted a Pride of 10 lions and it was such a joy to watch them. Not to forget, our wonderful Safari Guide Ms. Jana Du Plesis. She made sure to give us the best experience on each of our game drives. In the next few game drives, we spotted the Leopard and Buffalos along with so many other animals and birds. For those of you who have never experienced wildlife and nature so closely, this is a MUST TRY and we are lucky to have spotted all the BIG 5! We only wish we spent a few more days at Kruger.

After 2 days at Hoyo Hoyo, we travelled on the Panorama route to witness breathtakingly beautiful landscapes. We then stayed at Oliver’s- White River for the night. This was one of our best stays and we absolutely loved the property, food, and just the whole vibe. Coming to the last leg of our trip, we flew the next morning from Mpumalanga Airport to Cape Town. Cape Town is by far one of the most splendid cities I’ve visited. The landscapes, the drives, the wine tours, each and everything was SO AMAZING!

We also added a shark cage dive tour at the last minute and Megan at Discover Africa was so prompt in replying to us and helping us with our last-minute changes. She was so kind to even answer to all our queries even much before the trip and has always been so prompt. All in all, South Africa should definitely be on one’s bucket list. Thank You Discover Africa for this experience and we hope to be back in SA soon.
