Exclusive Okavango Delta Safari

I have been more than impressed with this entire experience every time. I will continue to use them year after year.

Cayleigh put together an 18 day tour of Victoria Falls, Botswana and Namibia that was the best trip we have ever taken! The service was so personal and professional, we were taken care of every single step of the way. When a flight was cancelled for some of our party, Cayleigh was immediately in touch even though she was on vacation. Any time we had a question, Cayleigh was quick to respond. When our flights were changed and we were scheduled to arrive in the evening, she made sure that a dinner was waiting for us at the hotel. The accomodations were amazing, the staff at each lodge were awesome. All of our meals were exceptional, and included most of our beer and wine. Truly, it was an experience we will never forget.

Vihann was responsive and friendly, worked patiently with me as I tweaked my itinerary three times. I researched the camps myself and Vihann supported with his local knowledge so the result was very memorable and extraordinary holiday. I was very happy with local transfers, guides were available to answer questions and food was top notch.

Adelle was incredibly helpful from start to finish. Set us up with a great itinerary for our 8-day safari. We were able to see lots of animals and get a great cultural experience in Botswana between the 3 lodges that we stayed at. Highly recommend DiscoverAfrica if you don’t want the headache of trying to plan it all. Let them do it for you. I am not sure the cost is really that different anyway.

Highly recommend Chrizaan as a resource for arranging a safari trip. She found us some outstanding accommodations, put together the whole package for us, and reacted quickly mid trip when some flight disruptions meant transport pick ups had to be rearranged. Botswana is spectacular. Definitely worth going into the Okavanga Delta to get the genuine safari experience.

Richard's Safari Experience

What a fantastic choice we made! We are from the uk and decided to book our tour with a local African tour operator rather than someone from the uk who has never visited the place. The trip was booked pre-pandemic, however, all way through lockdown Megan from Discover Africa, contacted us regularly, kept us updated and made sure that as soon as the borders were open that our trip went ahead.

We visited SA, Botswana, Namibia & Tanzania. Every transfer was on time, every hotel was excellent and on each safari we saw amazing things – including seeing the big 5 (although not guaranteed!)

Towards the end of the trip SA went on to the “red list” and we couldn’t get home, what a relief it was to know that with a quick whatsapp call, Megan was on to it, hotels were booked and a tour of the Garden route sorted during our extended stay. Our favourites were Babylonstoren and Grootbost which allowed us to experience the diversity of South African nature.

The whole trip was an experience of a lifetime, the Serengeti, the Okavango Delta, Etosha, the Ngorongoro crater to name but a few places we visited.

In essence I would highly recommend Discover Africa to anyone wishing to travel there. I will most definitely be using them again. Great work Megan!
