Adelle and team had plan my Africa trip according to what we discuss. They are professional and plan in detail the itinerary. We had a very good time in Africa travelling from Johannesburg, Victoria Falls, Botswana and end at Cape Town. The transfers are arrange properly such that we do not have to worry.

Chrizaan was extremely helpful in planning the trip (including promptly arranging visa related paperwork etc) and answering queries. The quality of the accommodations was great (with a particular shout-out to Jackalberry Lodge in Chobe, which is a beautiful property) with excellent service throughout. The guides at Chobe and the Okavango Delta worked hard to make sure that the wildlife sightings were great (was just a little unlucky given the recent freak flooding in the Delta – even then, I had two excellent leopard sightings in Khwai!). Would gladly reach out to Discover Africa to help plan future safaris.

Discover Africa Safaris were great to deal with. Cayleigh put together an excellent itinerary which included Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, the Okavango Delta and Maun. It included everything we requested, with excellent accommodation, transfers and safaris. Everything went smoothly. We had a wonderful time and saw amazing sights and heaps of wildlife. Communication was excellent throughout with both Cayleigh and Megan. Would definitely use them again if we are ever travelling in the area.

Everything was more than what I expected. From the safari drives to the lodging and food was five star. At the camps, one was pampered. Everyone was personable and made me feel at home. The entire trip was wonderful!

We travel a lot. I don’t normally write reviews and I typically plan and book everything myself because I am very exacting when it comes to the itinerary, logistics, accommodations, activities, etc. – everything must be perfect. When planning this trip, I vetted and researched at least 10 top-rated companies (including phone interviews) and reviewed a dozen itineraries before beginning to work with Discover Africa and Susan Veldman.

We were a group of 2 couples traveling together on a complex itinerary with high expectations, a restricted amount of time, and a budget range. Susan was patient, professional, friendly, and expertly knowledgeable. She worked with all of our parameters, spent hours on Zoom calls with me, and put together a lifetime experience trip to Tanzania and several other locations that was seamless and exceptional. In addition, Susan checked in with me regularly during our trip to make sure that everything was going well.

We had it all – incredible private guides, perfectly located accommodations, a great combination of luxury and simplicity to meet our desired experience at each location, and enriching experiences.

While on the trip, I was also pleased to hear from independent local operators that Discover Africa is highly regarded in the industry as an ethical company that is one of the best.
