Is the Wayo Serengeti Green Camp South for Me?
Wayo Serengeti Green Camp is a seasonal camp which follows the main wildebeest events during the year.
From December to March the camp is located in the Northern Serengeti, to get the best chance to catch a river crossing. From July to October the camp is located in the southern regions of the Serengeti National Park and captures the herds as they reach the lower plains for calving seasons.
Wayo Serengeti Green Camp features newly designed tents sewn by local teams located on the boundary of Arusha National Park. The offering further extends to iconic Wayo mesh-sided tents that are 180 degrees creating a picture-window frontage and taking the inside-outside experience to another level.
Encased in a beautiful stretch canvas overhead, tents sensitively blend into the landscape whilst also providing shade and privacy. There are ensuite bathrooms with low-flush toilets and bucket showers.
