Located in the Madikwe Game Reserve, Mateya Safari Lodge offers a luxury safari experience. This malaria-free reserve, situated in South Africa’s northwest, features open grasslands punctuated by rocky outcrops and majestic mountains.
It is home to lions, buffalo, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, black and white rhinos, and wild dogs, along with over 350 bird species.
The exclusive lodge accommodates just 10 guests in five individually designed, air-conditioned luxury suites. Each spacious suite boasts hand-crafted furnishings, a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a secluded open-air shower, fireplace, tea/coffee facilities, and a private deck.
The main area comprises a spa, gym and a library. Fine cuisine is served in spectacular settings, from the lodge’s viewing deck to the intimate wine cellar housing 8000 bottles.
