You will spend 2 nights in the Timbavati, the area is renowned for its excellent game viewing and birdwatching in truly unspoiled wilderness. Walkers Plains is one of the newest lodges in the area, opened mid-2023, it is set on an open plain savannah with expansive views towards the Drakensberg Mountains. This will be an unforgettable wildlife experience.

On your arrival at OR Tambo, go through customs and pick up your luggage. Once you exit the terminal, you are met by the driver and transferred to the hotel. Check in and time at leisure. The property is located about 10 kms from the airport, there is a nice size garden, a swimming pool and large patio ensuring a relaxed stay. Dinner is included at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport on time for your flight to Hoedspruit. You are met at the airport for the road transfer to the lodge. Arrive on time for lunch and relax before the first game drive. Your stay includes 2 nights at Walkers Plains Camp including your meals, selected beverages and two game drives per day. The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve lies within the Greater Kruger National Park open system, and within the internationally declared Kruger 2 Canyons UNESCO Man and Biosphere System. You will have wonderful game sightings experience, and if you are lucky you can tick the following animals: buffalos, lions, giraffes, wildebeest, impalas, baboons, cheetahs, leopards, and the rare white lion.

Last morning in the bush and check out of the camp after breakfast. Road transfer to Hoedspruit airport on time for your return flight to Johannesburg. Connect with your onward flight or contact us to extend your safari.
