Botswana Safari and Livingstone Luxury Journey

This was my 6th trip to South Africa and Botswana and, as always, Matthys van Aswegen made it a happy, safe, and exciting experience! My roommate, Glenna, and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to South Africa’s Boulders Beach to visit the African Penguin Reserve and all the beautiful scenery in that area. Another Discover Africa staff member, Kayla Robson, joined Glenna and me for dinner one evening and it was such a delight getting acquainted with another Discover Africa person whose talents enrich the travel experience.

When we arrived in Botswana we were so pleased to have the two guides I have always requested and, even though I’ve been at Camps Moremi and Savute before, they provided us with safaris that added to my previous experiences, learning new things about animal behavior and, the bonus, twice seeing a cheetah – a cat I hadn’t yet seen in Botswana!

And I’m already planning my next trip to these two fabulous countries!

For organising just a great trip. Every destination was different, but all the accommodation was first class. The managers were first class and always had my transfers in hand. Took the helicopter ride at Victoria Falls really add to the walk along the Falls. The people in Botswana are wonderful and happy really added to the stay. The safaris were fantastic!

I had a great trip organised by Chrizaan.
Everything went very smoothly including all of the pickups, flights and accommodation.

I visited Namibia and loved seeing the dunes, springboks and oryx.

I also visited the Okavango Delta and saw so many animals including all of the big 5.

I would definitely recommend Discover Africa.

Our trip was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. Every lodge we stayed in was amazing—comfortable, charming, and perfectly located. The human service throughout the trip was excellent, and the wildlife experiences were simply indescribable. Seeing the animals in their natural habitat was beyond anything we could have imagined.

From the very first contact, Susan provided impeccable service. She was always quick to respond, attentive to our needs, and made every effort to tailor the trip exactly the way we wanted. Everything went smoothly without a single issue, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.

Laura's Safari Experience

Home from a great trip to South Africa and Botswana, which was totally organised by Adelle at Discover Africa. Adelle was recommended to us by a friend, and after Adelle asked us what we would like to do and achieve on holiday, Adelle put together some great itineraries, and after some fine tuning between us, it ended up being the best holiday we have ever enjoyed. We never had to worry about any pick-ups, trips, hotel stays, or visits as everything was well organised. Next time we plan to visit Southern Africa again, we will ask Adelle to help us again.

It has been a great experience to have Discover Africa to organise our luxury safari to Botswana.

We have experienced great attention by Matthys van Aswegen from the first contact onwards. At the last minute one of our party of four had to arrive on a later flight in Maun, but Matthys fixed the schedule, and the person flew to the lodge on small plane. The party even managed to get together for the first game drive at Leroo La Tau. We stayed in three lodges, all were great, all of the staff amazing (they nursed their guests), and we enjoyed watching the animals and birds (more than 100 species).

Everything was as promised and if anything better than expected. Highly recommended!
