Day 1

Khwai

Staying at African Bush Camps Khwai Leadwood

Arrive at Maun airport on time for the scheduled charter flight into camp. Meet at the airstrip and transfer to the lodge. Check in and relax before the afternoon activity, before going back to camp for dinner and night. Your 3 nights stay at Leadwood includes your meals, selected beverages and shared game activities. Set within the Okavango Delta’s community-run Khwai Concession, this beautiful camp is tucked under the trees on the edge of the Khwai River. This river is all that separates the iconic Moremi Game Reserve and the concession, with hippos, elephants and even lions crossing over from time to time. Watching these animals manoeuvre through the water is an exceptional experience.

Khwai

Staying at African Bush Camps Khwai Leadwood

During the day, you can enjoy game drives, walking safaris and mokoro safaris (water levels permitting) in search of Africa’s big attractions including lion, cheetah, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, hippo and giraffe. An additional virtue of this area is that you can head off on night drives and get an up-close and personal experience with some of Africa’s nocturnal and more elusive animals. Khwai’s biggest drawcard is undoubtedly the plentiful and extraordinary wildlife – you’ll never be bored here!

Linyanti Concession

After breakfast, road transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled charter flight to the camp in Linyanti - this can be a shared helicopter transfer. Once you land, meandering game drive through to the camp where you will be spending another 3 nights. Nestled between the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park, Linyanti is a rich yet diverse ecosystem that is fed by a permanent river flow. A unique place where you can embrace the “digital detox” and slip into the rhythm of an authentic and game-filled safari experience.

Linyanti Ebony is home to some fantastic wildlife including a healthy population of predators such as lion, wild dog and several more elusive species. Evening time, you are treated to a concert of honking hippos and chirruping frogs, the perfect backing track to an al-fresco meal served beneath a star-studded night sky. Explore the pristine riverine ecosystem of a Chobe safari on foot or cruise through the crystal-clear waterways on an expertly guided mokoro trip, marveling at the bird and aquatic life as you go.

Victoria Falls (Zambia)

Staying at African Bush Camps Thorntree River Lodge

Last morning in the bush before the scheduled flight to Kasane, followed by the border crossing and the road transfer to your luxury property in Livingstone. You will be spending 2 nights including your meals, selected beverages and selected scheduled activities. Chat to the camp manager and set up the day with your chosen excursion. At the end of the day, after a refreshing sundowner drink while watching an exquisite African sunset, spend your evening sharing stories of your safari around the fire from within the comfort of the sunken boma before enjoying our African inspired fine-dining experience.

Victoria Falls (Zambia)

Today you can choose to be active, or simply to relax at camp. Showcasing incredible river panoramas from its unique vantage, the shared areas are fluid hubs of relaxation; the lounge flows seamlessly into the dining area, and the library hosts WIFI connectivity. The communal deck is set on the edge of the stunning riverside and is home to a sunken boma area and an infinity pool. Daily excursions are offered to the Zambian side of The Victoria Falls, private river cruises, cultural visits, fishing expeditions, canoeing, rhino tracking and game drives, all included in your stay.
