Explore the Zambezi River in a propeller-free safari boat that will take you to places no other craft can reach
Explore the islands and channels upstream of the Victoria Falls in a specially designed water jet propulsion safari boat that can comfortably cross the numerous rapids along the upper Zambezi River. Since there's no external propeller, the boat can operate in water as shallow as 20 centimetres. This gives it an operational range much greater than any other powerboat, extending from as close as 200 metres from the Victoria Falls to beyond the upper river lodges.
Early morning is a great time to be on the river, before the heat of the day takes hold. Aboard this '4x4 of the Zambezi River', you'll be able to get close to animals such as elephants, hippos and crocodiles in the river and along its banks, as well as to a number of bird species.
