O R Tambo International Airport: The main airport in Johannesburg is the entryway to Sun City, however, it takes around three hours to reach there by car. Most tourists book a minibus road transport, but it’s simple enough to drive yourself, especially if you plan to go on game drives in the nearby Pilanesberg National Park or visit Madikwe Private Game Reserve, which is around two hours away from Sun City.
