Hey Carel Back-end update – the big main herd went further south of the eastern Grumeti from our last report and have scattered around the Seronera area. A smaller group is in and around the Lobo airstrip. I had a flight to Nairobi yesterday, flying over the Mara and the rains there have finally started. I don’t know if it will be enough to compel the big herd to move North again. I hear that something like this happened once before about 5 years back, it is still early days so perhaps they will move north again soon! Thanks and Regards, Joel
