Day 1

Ngorongoro Crater

Staying at A&K Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp

Arrive at Kilimanjaro airport, pass through customs and transit to the domestic terminal on time for the flight. Depending on your time of arrival, you might require to stay a pre-night in Arusha, contact us for options.

Arrive at Manyara airstrip and meet with the camp's guide who will transfer you. it takes about an hour to get to camp, via a meandering drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands. Relax at camp before dinner and night. Possibility to add a cultural visit or a walk in the area, let us know what you would prefer.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

Staying at A&K Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp

Awaken early this morning to a warm cup of tea or coffee served on the veranda of your tent, and be the first to set eyes on the magnificence of Ngorongoro Crater. The ideal location of the camp will ensure easy and swift access to the national park where you can enjoy a game drive with an expert guide/driver in the crater and on the rim. Track and spot the endemic wildlife amidst the spectacular backdrop of the crater wall at every turn. This great caldera is home to around 30,000 animals with a high concentration of predators. Zebra and wildebeest account for almost half the animals with plenty of gazelle, buffalo, hartebeest, warthog and bull elephants. On the lake in the middle of the crater, you may see thousands of flamingos fluttering and shimmering like a pink heat haze.

Return to camp for lunch, and to freshen up. Balance of the day is at leisure to relax and appreciate the majestic location. End your day with a hot shower before predinner drinks by the campfire as you discuss the day’s adventures.

Day 3-5

Northern Serengeti

Staying at A&K Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp (Northern Serengeti)

Early breakfast and transfer back to the airstrip on time for the flight to the North of the Serengeti.

You arrive at the airstrip and transfer to the camp via a meandering game drive. You will stay 3 nights at Kichakani, including all your meals, selected beverages and the shared scheduled game drives.

Sanctuary Kichakani invites you to intimately experience the movement of a million- plus wildebeest and zebra as they follow the fresh grasses across the Serengeti plains during the annual migration cycle.

Spend your days tracking giraffes, Thomson’s gazelles, waterbucks, and impalas. Witness the herd of a million plus wildebeest and zebra as they make their way through the lush grass plains that stretch out across the horizon. Don’t forget about the plethora of predators that such movement attracts such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards and wild dogs to name a few. Your days will be filled with animals sights and sounds.

Day 6-8

Masai Mara

Staying at A&K Sanctuary Olonana Lodge

Transfer to the airstrip for the flight hops (there are 2-3 flights and a border crossing included, depending on the schedules) and you will arrive into Kenya's Masai Mara.

Meet the camp safari guide at the airstrip and transfer to camp via a meandering drive, you will be located on the "other side" of the river and hopefully get to see the herds with a different vantage point. Olonana is located on the river, giving you a direct access to the numerous hippos and other wildlife, including lots of birds. The meals, selected beverages and scheduled shared game drives are including in your 3 nights stay.

The Mara's rich eco-system includes acacia-studded savannah, riparian forest and woodland which attract more than 300 bird species and a stunning variety of animal life all year round.

Back at the lodge, dine on the deck of the main lodge and overlook the river’s resident hippos. Relax with a good book in the library, cool off in the pool or for an extra special treat, experience traditional African remedies and spa treatments in the mini-spa (treatment not included).

Day 9

End Of Itinerary

Breakfast at the lodge before the transfer to the airstrip and the flight to Wilson airport. On arrival, road transfer to Jomo Kenyatta and time at leisure until your onward flight. Contact us to book a day trip into Nairobi, or a day room. Alternatively let us know if you would like to extend your safari with a few days at the beach, or a gorilla trekking .
